Alex Eaton was the brother of Joseph Eaton and the uncle of Mila Ann Eaton. He was the first of the Eaton clan to come out to Oregon from Missouri taking up a domination land claim in Pleasant Hill Twp in Lane Co, OR near the village of Cloverdale.
